funny comic, but it is hard to take seriously with immediately under it, you get
“.. as Joe Biden and Kamala Harris win the US election. The American people have disavowed four years of a thuggish presidency. They have chosen decency over dysfunction, fact over fiction, truth over lies, and empathy over cruelty. ”
no not really. we are still totally into that.

Frankly, I wouldn’t concede either if’n I were him. There’s reasons why the Electoral College meets more than a month after the election. Gives folks time to sort out discrepancies within the states and, way back when, time to get to DC. Until SCOTUS certifies the EC vote , the election for President is not over. Sure, Trump has little chance to win at this point but it is not zero. R emember that 5 of 45 Electoral Colleges have chosen the “ losing” Presidential candidate as the winner.

None have done so over the wishes of their state’s voters though. Their have been unfaithful electors, but never enough to close the gap that exists here (and the Supreme Court confirmed earlier this year that states can replace electors who don’t vote for their state’s choice. So the question is can Trump show that the totals reported by the states are significantly wrong. And it sure doesn’t look like they have anything. And even in a state as close as Georgia, it is unlikely any recount would close the gap (recounts tend to change vote totals by hundreds, not thousands) .

If only 45 could do it with some dignity/decorum/maturity, simply say “I’m going to sit back and let the system work this out, it’s not over yet”, instead of launching more conspiracy theories, baseless accusations, frivolous legal actions, etc.
But as we all know, dignity, decorum and maturity are in short supply in the 2020 White House. I’m waiting for unrepentant POS Barr or worthless excuse for a human Junior to babble something more.

Indeed. Even if there can be a movement for the often false pretense logic and reason for a term or two, the pendulum will swing again, stand back, stand by.

I dont believe the hype, the rhetoric on fascism, socialism. I do believe sleepy joe is not going to fix the "hot button" issues, or really change much of anything. At least his brand of tomfoolery seems accidental rather than intentional.

I can agree on Joe likely not fixing any of what really ails us - neither party will . But maybe at least he’ll be marginally less embarrassing on the world stage, and will utter less dogwhistles to the real depl orables out there.
The biggest shame is that we had to choose between Douchebag and Turd Sandwich again.

Just remember that First Dog on the Moon (known to his mum as Andrew) is an Australian...and we have an outsider's view of your world.

Has Trump ever been quiet? No. Bombastic, outrageous , arrogant . Don’t much care. He gets stuff done. H e’s helped me and mine a lot.

H e doesn’t have to be quiet, I’m not asking for that . He should be an adult.
You and yours are in a small minority, I suppose - I can’t think of many escapades of this regime that were even accidental successes. No healthcare reform, same economic malaise, widening socio-economic gap, economic mobility continues to stagnate, endless appeals to wanna-nazis and friends, laughable pandemic response, rich- favoring deficit-exploding tax plan with no sustainable benefits for real people. To be fair, many of those socio-economic issues also existed under 45's predecessor, and will exist under his replacement.

True, but only on the 1st ballot . Gore/Bush had folks cross vote on the 1st ballot that was upheld . Don’t recall which state. Didn’ t matter in the end.

“On his joint fund with the RNC, the donations work as follows: “60% of each contribution first to Save America, up to $5,000/$5,000, then to DJTP’s recount account, up to a maximum of $2,800/$5,000. [And] 40% of each contribution to the RNC’s operating account, up to a maximum of $35,500/$15,000.”
This essentially means that depending on the size of your donation, a large portion of any donation won’t go to the “recount” bid but will instead go to the Super Pac sponsoring the bid, and the Republican party.”
he needs to stoke donors for more cash to repay his loans.
